Hello
Odd Bird Baking Co. was born in Longmont, Colorado right around the same time as Rachel's two sons, in 2017. After earning her culinary degree in 2007 and spending a decade in small bakeries, Rachel moved to Durango in 2019 and started selling "Pajama Boxes" — a dozen assorted freshly baked pastries delivered to doorsteps on Saturday mornings. People loved them, and Odd Bird grew from there into a true family business.
We focus on originality and hope to bring some fresh ideas to old favorites. Our scratch-made pastries feature organic Colorado-grown flours from Mountain Oven, Roaring Fork Mill and Mountain Mama and we love to showcase produce and other ingredients from local farms and businesses whenever possible/ We use only ethically sourced vanilla extract and never any seed oils or artificial colors. We are proud vendors in the Durango Farmers Market and sell our baked goods in many stores and cafes in the Durango area.

Our offerings change with the seasons — bright fruit and florals in summer, warm spice and citrus in winter. We're proud vendors at the Durango Farmers Market and wholesale partners with markets and cafes across the area.
We're always looking to connect with local businesses who share our values.

Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate custom orders at this time.
What about catering for events?
